kaze is a silver object studio, made in melbourne. the person behind it trained in architecture — a field of forms that live on screens, in concept, unreachable by hand. the silver bench was a different world. immediate. physical. something you could hold and keep. the way of thinking stayed. the distance went. each piece begins as a problem to figure out and ends as a small object made slowly by hand — not drawn on a screen, not generated, not prompted. a practice that insists on the human touch in a time that no longer needs to. for people who notice the surface, the weight, the quiet mark of a hand.
